Step 1 – Verify the URL, username, and password you are using to login to the router admin section. Most commonly the web address is website routerlogin.net or www.routerlogin.com

Username – admin

Password – admin

If you have changed the password then enter that password. If you do not remember the password then reset your router.

Step 3 – If the URL website routerlogin.net or www.routerlogin.com is not working. Try using the IP address for the URL like or instead of the earlier used IP address. If even these do not work, check the IP address at the bottom of the router to verify whether you are entering correct details or not.

Step 5 – If you are connected to multiple networks at the same time, it is better to disconnect all connected to the NETGEAR router.

Step 6 – Disable all pop-up blockers, firewalls, and even the ad blocking software of your browser. This may cause issues to the pop-ups asking for username and password.

Step 7 – You must power cycle your modem, router and the connected devices. Leave power off on the NETGEAR router for 10 seconds and then reboot the network also check out Wireless Router Setup.

Step 8 – If none of the steps seem to work then the final option is to do a factory reset of the router device. After doing the factory reset, reset all the configured settings.

Step 10 — Now click on Advanced –> Router Update –> Check. You will find your new firmware. Click yes to update the firmware.

By following these steps, you will be able to solve the access error and configure the Routerlogin settings in an effective manner.
